The earthy pu'erh and the smoky lapsang souchoung are reminiscent of the lingering smell after a forest fire. Add some warming chai spices and a little licorice root for sweetness and this is bound to be your new favourite chai. Awesome as a latte or added to our chai matcha latte.

I love this tea so much. I don't care for Lapsang Souchong normally, but holy cow is this ever wonderful. It's so round and perfectly balanced in my mouth (does that make sense?) and even just the scent of it keeps me happy all day. Since I've gotten this tea I've moved from 2 to 3 cups of tea a day - just because I want to taste it again!

I ordered this tea because I was looking for a Pu'erh with great flavour for my morning routine. I had to give up coffee and I wanted a satisfying alternative. I thought I would use it for a latte, but it tastes good all by itself so I usually drink this one without any sweetener or milk. It is even better on the second steeping than the first.

This chai tea is a unique fusion of pu'errh tea and black lapsang chousan. Though the smell of the unsteeped leaves may be a bit strong for some (it smells like a brush fire), the taste of the steeped tea is a smoky phenomenon. Give it a shot, you won't regret it!
