Product Description
This handy little device allows you to put your loose leaf tea loose, inside your teapot! This is the best way to steep your tea. The leaves have the full space to allow for perfect infusing. Then, when the tea is ready, simply put the teapot spout strainer in the spout and pour! The strainer will keep all the leaves in the teapot and the tea in your cup. The spout strainer also works with herbal blends, rooibos, and mate.

A Most Useful Tea Accessory

I had to purchase multiple of these handy teapot spout filters. Gentrification and the Covid-19 have caused small, beautiful teashops to close or downsize in the Bay Area (California). With less physical access to a wide variety of tea accoutrements, I was lucky to discover that The Flying Leaf Tea carried these! Thank you so much for having these in stock. When I was growing up in France, my mother had a Dutch friend who gave her one of those strainers and I have been looking for one on and off for years. So happy to find one and affordable too! (the only other ones I found were being gouged at ten times the price!). It is not quite as thick as the one I remember and the old one used to have a little umbrella-like handle but this does the job very well and perfectly strained my loose tea. And the hit of nostalgia is an added bonus!

I used one of these strainers in London and really liked the way it strained the tea. They are not easily found, even on line. Flying leaf sent them to me as ordered, and I have been enjoying them.
