Loading... Please wait...In 1191, Eisai, the monk, brought matcha to Japan. Matcha is a finely ground, powdered, high quality green tea. It can take up to one hour to grind 30 grams of matcha. The monks drank matcha to heighten concentration and to help increase mental clarity and focus. It is known to reduce stress and anxiety. By consuming the entire tea leaf, matcha drinkers enjoy the high concentration of green tea antioxidants, amino acids, vitamins, minerals, and fibre.
Our flavoured matcha is sweetened with organic cane sugar and then flavoured with organic flavours. We recommend using our flavoured matchas in tea lattes, hot or cold! When mixing cold, we recommend simply shaking the powder in approximately 8 oz or milk, soy, almond, etc. When making a hot matcha latte, we recommend just covering the powder with water while you steam your milk (soy or almond beverage) and then pour and mix in your cup.
